It is a holiday weekend and if you are lucky enough to be visiting Walt Disney World, you are going to want to pack some extra patience and plan ahead.
EPCOT is feeling the holiday rush this Presidents’ Day weekend as guests packed the park early, with heavy foot traffic stretching through World Showcase and beyond.
Weekend Crowds
Now is a great time to visit EPCOT, especially with the Festival of the Arts happening!
I like to arrive early in the day to enjoy the park when it’s a little bit quieter. Lines and crowds definitely pick up as the day goes on.
By early afternoon, walkways near the Germany Pavilion and Japan Pavilion were shoulder to shoulder as families, festival fans, and holiday travelers filled the park.
With mild weather and a long weekend on the calendar, it’s no surprise that many guests chose to spend their time off at Walt Disney World.
Popular attractions experienced longer wait times, and mobile order windows filled faster than usual.
Festival booths also drew steady lines as guests sampled seasonal favorites throughout the day.
Crowd levels were most noticeable along the World Showcase promenade, where strollers and scooters moved more slowly due to the high volume of guests.
While the atmosphere remained upbeat and energetic, visitors needed extra patience navigating the busiest areas.
Tips and Tricks
If you’re visiting during a holiday weekend, I recommend arriving early, securing Lightning Lane selections in advance, and planning mid-day breaks to avoid peak congestion.
