Birthdays are special for everyone, especially when it is your first birthday. And what better place to celebrate than at Walt Disney World?

The Disney Parks Animal Care Team shared an adorable video of this birthday celebration and creating a cake just for Tucker.
His tasty cake includes leafy branches, vegetable hearts, and a birthday message with Mickey images.
His primary trainor, Nicole shared that giraffes stare at items for a long time and don’t take rash action, so they attempt to give him his cake a few times. Giraffes are smart but are slow to make decisions and are often indecisive.
Did Tucker finally eat his cake? Not this time! His furry friend Eland and Finn enjoyed every crumb.
Meet Tucker
One year ago, Mara, the beloved Masai giraffe at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, welcomed a beautiful baby boy named Tucker.
His arrival marked the first giraffe calf born at Walt Disney World Resort since 2021 and was a milestone for the park’s wildlife care team.
Today, guests can spot Tucker stretching his long legs and strolling the savanna alongside his mom as he celebrates his first birthday.

But Tucker’s birth is more than a sweet story. It supports global conservation efforts for the endangered Masai giraffe.
Disney continues to play an active role in protecting and preserving this iconic species for future generations.
