Walt Disney World Wait Times for Early February 2026
Okay, you’re currently enjoying the afterglow of Super Bowl parties.
Also, if you’re anything like me, you’re watching The Olympics constantly.

I have VERY strong opinions about Curling, but I won’t bore you with the specifics right now.
You’re here to distract yourself briefly with some Disney information. So, let’s get started!

Disney
Here are Walt Disney World’s wait times for early February 2026.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom

We’ll start with the most interesting park this past week, as it was the start of a new era.
We’ve now entered the void between DinoLand USA and the Tropical Americas.

Animal Kingdom will primarily be the Avatar park for the next few months.
Then, its fortunes will flip overnight with the introduction of Bluey experiences at Conservation Station.

Speaking of which, the Wildlife Express Train closes as of February 23rd, 2026.
The train won’t reopen until Disney is nearly ready for the Bluey experiences to begin.

Long story short, Animal Kingdom may be deader than usual during the first half of 2026.
Was it last week? Here are Animal Kingdom’s average wait times last week:

- Avatar Flight of Passage – 86 minutes, up 20
- Na’vi River Journey – 52 minutes, up 3
- Expedition Everest – 47 minutes, up 6
- Adventurers Outpost – 38 minutes, up 3
- Kilimanjaro Safaris – 37 minutes, up 6
- Zootopia: Better Zoogether! – 22 minutes, up 4
- Kali River Rapids – 9 minutes, up 1

Kali River Rapids
Okay, everything increased last week, which still isn’t a sign of a more crowded park.
More than anything, this is a realignment as guests change their Animal Kingdom patterns.

Na’vi River Journey
Overall, guests waited in line for an average of 42 minutes, which is…no change.
That probably sounds confusing, but there’s a reasonable explanation.

During its final week, DINOSAUR placed second on the list with an average wait of an hour.
So, we just dropped that one from the calculations.

If not for that, the average wait would have increased by seven minutes.
That’s what happens when a park closes a (temporarily) popular ride.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios

As I mentioned last week, Hollywood Studios got the jump on Animal Kingdom.
This park already closed two (!) of its themed lands last year and is now dealing with the fallout.

Muppet*Vision 3D
Fortunately, Animation Courtyard and Muppets Courtyard weren’t that popular.
So, nothing much has changed here, as the only major attraction we lost was Muppet*Vision 3D.

Star Wars Launch Bay has also closed permanently, but guests are just hanging out with other characters.
Besides, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge effectively usurped Star Wars Launch Bay anyway.

Therefore, this park’s crowd behavior hasn’t changed much at all after the closures.
Here are the average wait times at Hollywood Studios last week:

Toy Story Mania
- Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance – 78 minutes, up 8
- Slinky Dog Dash – 77 minutes, up 7
- Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run – 76 minutes, up 8
- Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith – 69 minutes, up 10
- Twilight Zone Tower of Terror – 68 minutes, up 22
- Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway – 52 minutes, up 5
- Toy Story Mania! – 52 minutes, up 1
- Red Carpet Dreams – 37 minutes, up 1
- Alien Swirling Saucers – 34 minutes, up 5
- Celebrity Spotlight – 19 minutes, up 2
- Star Tours – The Adventures Continue! – 11 minutes, up 2
Overall, guests waited for an average of 52 minutes, which is six minutes more than last time.
EPCOT

EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival
We’ve got two weeks left for the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts.
I’m getting frequent reports that it’s the best one to date, which is high praise.

El Artista Hambriento spread
In terms of personality, Festival of the Arts may be my favorite at EPCOT.
Cast Members get to flex their creativity muscles, and it’s stunning to behold.

Still, we haven’t noticed a sizable impact on attendance the last couple of weeks.
Did that change this time? Well, I’ll tell you that the answer is yes.

That’s because Frozen Ever After just underwent a quick refurbishment.
Disney has already announced a return date, but its absence ripples throughout the park.

Keeping that in mind, here are EPCOT’s average wait times last week:
- Test Track – 90 minutes, up 17
- Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind – 86 minutes, up 9
- Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure – 58 minutes, up 7
- Royal Sommerhus – 48 minutes, up 4

- Journey into Imagination with Figment – 15 minutes, up 3
- Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros – 12 minutes, up 1

Overall, EPCOT’s attractions averaged a wait of 38 minutes each.
That’s five minutes more than last time. So, we’re definitely trended toward more crowded parks.

- Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress – 5 minutes, no change
Final Thoughts

Crowds
Overall, Magic Kingdom guests stood in line for an average of 31 minutes per attraction.
That’s two minutes more per attraction, which speaks to larger crowds at Disney World last week.

This trend should continue this week, with Valentine’s Day conveniently falling on a Saturday.
Then, Presidents’ Day falls on the following Monday. So, Disney crowds will peak then.
