The Disney Springs Lime Garage Is Temporarily Reopening For a Few Days
When Walt Disney World reimagined Downtown Disney into Disney Springs, the goal was clear: make the district more appealing and more accessible to locals.
To support that vision, Disney constructed multiple large parking garages, creating thousands of spaces for guests arriving by car.

Today, it’s easier than ever to pull up to Disney Springs, find a spot, and jump right into the magic.
The Lime Garage Closed For Refurbishment in January
As we reported last year, however, Disney planned to close the Disney Springs Lime Garage for refurbishment.

At the time, a listing on Planet Bids noted that the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District was seeking a qualified contractor to perform structural maintenance on the district’s Lime Parking Garage.
Additionally, the work was to focus on crack sealing on all ramps throughout the garage.
When we first got wind of the Lime Garage refurbishment plan, the expectation was that the building would close on January 12, 2026, and reopen on March 13.

That ended up being the case.
The Garage Is Temporarily Reopening This Week
While the parking structure refurbishment is still underway, the Lime Garage will be open today through February 16.

At that time, the garage will close again and remain shuttered until March 13.
If you plan to visit Disney Springs this weekend, the Lime Garage will be open.
Beginning next week, however, guests will have to use a different parking structure.
