WATCH ‘The Mandalorian and Grogu’ Super Bowl Commercial!
Excited about the upcoming Star Wars film, The Mandalorian and Grogu, releasing in theaters and IMAX on May 22nd?
So are we!

Fans have been anxiously waiting for more information and teasers, with many speculating a huge trailer would drop during the Super Bowl.
While The Mandalorian and Grogu did receive some airtime during today’s game, it wasn’t what fans were expecting/hoping for. Let’s check it out.
The Mandalorian and Grogu – Big Game Spot
The big game spot opens on Hoth (we can only assume, due to the scenery and Tauntauns), with a narrator discussing how we don’t always choose our own paths.
The camera focuses on Tauntauns breathing in the cold air, and the reigns being passed–or more aptly, levitated–to another set of hands…tiny green hands.

The spot seems to be a creative play on the classic Clydesdales commercials aired by Budweiser during the game. While some fans appreciated the creativity, others were disappointed to not receive a new trailer for the film.
