Cast Members and Fans Celebrate 25 Years of Disney California Adventure
Today is a special day! Disney California Adventure is celebrating its 25th Anniversary this year, and it’s wild to look back and see how far it has come.
Opened on February 8, 2001, this beloved park transformed 55 acres into a celebration of California stories, from seaside boardwalks to Hollywood backlots.
Today, cast members gathered on the streets of Main Street to celebrate with Mickey and Minnie and share their love for this amazing Disney theme park.

Disney California Adventure has grown into a full‑day destination packed with fan faves, including Cars Land, Pixar Pier, Avengers Campus, and San Fransokyo Square.
Each area showcases classic and new characters while keeping the park’s West Coast personality.
Disneyland took to social media to thank its cast members for being the backbone of the park. These hardworking teams tirelessly share their passion with Disney guests every day and create the magic we know and love.
Mickey and Minnie also joined in on the fun, posing on Buena Vista Street, inspired by the Los Angeles Walt Disney encountered in the 1920s, for a magical photo shoot! Thank you to all of these amazing cast members.
