What are the Disney World After Hours Events?
One of the more beautiful sights to see is Disney World after dark. When the lights of Main Street turn on, when Spaceship Earth illuminates the sky, nighttime is arguably one of the best times to be at the parks.
But did you know that you can access all of the magic long after park close?

Disney World After Hours
Disney World After Hours is a separate-ticketed event that allows you to enter select theme parks for three hours after the park closes. These events happen at Magic Kingdom, Epcot, or Hollywood Studios, and they guarantee a night full of unlimited snacks and short wait times!

Regardless of what park you choose, snacks and bottled beverages at various carts around the park are included with the price of your ticket. This means you can indulge in as much popcorn and Mickey Premium bars as your heart desires.
As these events are limited capacity, you can expect the wait times for your favorite attractions to be much lower than during the day. Plus, you can enter the park as early as 7:00 p.m. as long as you have a valid park admission in addition to your ticket.

Magic Kingdom After Hours
If you wish to spend your evening riding Tron or traipsing around an empty Fantasyland, there are some things you should know about Magic Kingdom After Hours.

Magic Kingdom After Hours are happening select nights from January 12 to July 27, 2026. Upcoming event dates include February 9 and 23; March 2 and 9; April 13 and 20; May 4, 11, 18 and 25, June 1, 22, and 29; and July 13 and 27.
Tickets can be bought online and price varies depending on the date you select. Typically, the cost will range from $175 to $199 per ticket.

The event lasts from 10:00 p.m. until 1:00 a.m. Out of the three parks available for this event, Magic Kingdom is the latest one.
An additional perk that comes with choosing Magic Kingdom is that you get to experience the fireworks spectacular, Disney Enchantment! This show is exclusive to the After Hours event and you don’t want to miss it.

Epcot After Hours
At Epcot After Hours, you can save the universe on Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind or take a ride on Test Track!
Epcot After Hours run for select dates from January 22 to September 24, 2026. Upcoming nights for this park include February 19; March 5 and 12; April 2, 9, 15, 23 and 30; May 21; June 11 and 18; July 9 and 23; August 6 and 13; and September 16 and 24.

Hollywood Studios After Hours
There’s no better feeling than walking down Sunset Boulevard with the neon lights aglow, and After Hours will allow you to take in all the nostalgia this street has to offer.

After Hours here runs on select nights from January 14 to September 12, 2026. Upcoming dates for Hollywood Studios are February 11, 21 and 25; April 29; May 6, 14 and 30; June 3, 10, 17 and 24; July 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29; August 5, 12, 19 and 26; and September 2 and 12.
Ticket prices will range from $155 to $189 per ticket. Similar to Epcot, Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club members can save $30 per ticket at this park.

Hollywood Studios during this event will be open from 9:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., with two exceptions. May 30’s event will run from 10:30 p.m. until 1:30 a.m. while September 12 will operate from 10:00 p.m. until 1:00 a.m.
At both Hollywood Studios and Epcot, you can expect to see some beloved Disney characters roaming around. And, if you take advantage of entering the park ahead of time, you won’t want to miss a showing of Fantasmic! before jumping on your favorite rides.

Is the Price Worth it?
While this event is on the pricier side, I do believe it is worth it for those of you who value low crowds and short waits.
The biggest benefit to this event, besides the unlimited snacks, is the limited capacity. Sometimes the parks can feel overwhelming, with wait times too long to maximize your time in all of the parks. But with After Hours, it’s easier to get to those E-Ticket attractions that may be swamped during the day.

After Hours is the perfect event for night owls, so as long as you get a good night’s rest the day before, you’ll be living it up during the most magical late night ever!
