Miral CEO Mohamed Abdalla Al Zaabi Congratulates Josh D’Amaro on Becoming Disney’s Next CEO
Just hours after Disney announced that Josh D’Amaro had been chosen to succeed Bob Iger as the company’s next CEO, both men appeared on ABC for an interview.
During the course of the conversation, D’Amaro promised that he would follow in Iger’s footsteps and continue to be a risk-taker.

When searching for an example of the kind of big swing that he wants to keep taking, the new Disney CEO pointed to Disneyland Abu Dhabi.
“And I think you see that on full display today. Just several months ago, we announced a massive expansion in a new part of the world, in Abu Dhabi,” he explained.

“We did that quickly, we did it ambitiously, and we knew there was a new part of the world to serve.”
Miral CEO Weighs in on D’Amaro’s Promotion
While Bob Iger will always get credit for bringing the Disney Parks to the Middle East, Disneyland Abu Dhabi will be closely associated with D’Amaro’s tenure.

As a new era in Disney history begins to unfold, Miral CEO Mohamed Abdalla Al Zaabi took to social media to congratulate D’Amaro on becoming Disney’s next CEO.
Miral, of course, is partnering with Disney on Disneyland Abu Dhabi and will be tasked with the construction and operation of the park.

“We are also very excited to congratulate Josh on his new role as CEO of Disney. He has been with us on this journey from the very beginning, and Bob’s vision, combined with Josh’s deep connection to the Disney legacy, will help lead this next chapter,” he said.

“This partnership represents more than a project. It is a shared belief in storytelling, creativity, and the power of building something meaningful for generations to come.”
A Seamless Transition
As D’Amaro was instrumental in launching the Disneyland Abu Dhabi project, the transition of power at Disney should have a minimal effect on the park.

I, for one, can’t wait to see what Disney and Miral create.
