MickeyBlog Review: ‘The Muppet Show’ is a Hit!
It’s back and better than ever! The Muppet Show has returned, and we couldn’t be more excited.
The fun, the humor, the nostalgia – it is all there. The brand new show held an advanced screening last night for D23 Gold Members, and we could not wait to check it out.

The Muppet Show revival officially debuts on ABC today, Wednesday, February 4th, at 9PM ET. The special will then be available to stream on Disney+ the following day.

The show brings back all of our favorite characters and mayhem! The show also coincides with the 50th anniversary of the original series, boasting a star-studded lineup of guests and, of course, plenty of fun.

The new Muppet Show has the perfect amount of nostalgia and comedy that we would expect, and the best part?
The rebooted Muppet Show will bring the new generation to love the Muppets with music, comedy bits, sketches, and chaotic fun from our favorite Muppets.
Sabrina Carpenter is the perfect host, with an ideal blend of humor and entertainment. She fits right in with the Muppets because she’s the same size (a joke on the show).
Waldorf and Statler were heckling the whole performance from their balcony box, and we loved the jokes and humor.
Both people and Muppets sit together in the audience watching the show, and there are appearances from Maya Rudolph and Seth Rogen. Fun!

It’s still the same antics and chaos you would expect from the Muppets. With even some moments tugging at your heartstrings.
Here’s hoping that Disney decides to make more Muppet Show episodes with a full rebooted series. Early reviews are glowing; it looks like fans are ready for more.
