Disney Shares Timelapse Video of the Disney Adventure’s Historic Trip Through the Panama Canal
In just over one month, a new chapter in Disney Cruise Line history will begin when the Disney Adventure officially sets sail.
As the newest addition to the Disney Cruise Line fleet, the Adventure will make history as the first Disney ship to sail from Singapore, bringing Disney magic at sea to an entirely new region of the world.

Onboard the Adventure, guests will be immersed in seven uniquely themed areas: Town Square, San Fransokyo Street, Toy Story Place, Disney Discovery Reef, Wayfinder Bay, Disney Imagination Garden, and Marvel Landing.

Guests will also have the opportunity to experience Disney’s first-ever castle at sea.
The Adventure’s Latest Adventure
While the Disney Adventure was initially scheduled to make its maiden voyage on December 15, 2025, the ship’s launch was later delayed until March 10, 2026.

Disney Signature Experiences President Joe Schott took to LinkedIn this afternoon to share an amazing time-lapse video of the Disney Adventure completing its transit through the Panama Canal.

“Last night, the #DisneyAdventure completed passage through one of the world’s most iconic waterways, the Panama Canal,” Schott captioned the post.
“As the largest passenger vessel ever to transit this route, this moment represents a significant achievement in maritime history. I want to recognize our incredible teams and partners at the Panama Canal, whose precision and planning made this possible. Milestones like this remind us that progress in the cruise industry is built on collaboration.”
