Potential Reopening Date For Oga’s Cantina Has Been Revealed
If you have visited Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland in the last couple of weeks, you may have noticed that a major attraction has been shuttered.
No, I am not talking about Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run or Rise of the Resistance. Instead, I am referring to Oga’s Cantina.

Since Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opened in 2019, smugglers, bounty hunters, and travelers of all ages have flocked to Oga’s Cantina to wet their whistle in Batuu.
Earlier this year, Disney made the exciting announcement that the timeline of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge was being expanded to allow the arrival of more characters and enhancements.

As part of the larger resetting of Batuu’s timeline, Disney announced that Oga’s Cantina would now be set during the Galactic Civil War.
At this time in Star Wars history, the watering hole was just becoming a popular spot for intergalactic travelers.
Oga’s Closed Last Month
In conjunction with the Galaxy’s Edge timeline reset, Oga’s Cantina quietly closed for refurbishment.
While Disney has not announced what changes will be made to the lounge, the expectation is that it will receive new theming appropriate for the era.
What we do know is that the Cantina Band music from A New Hope will be added to the tavern.

While we are still waiting to see what Disneyland’s plans for Oga’s Cantina are, we may finally know when the establishment will reopen.
It Looks Like the Lounge Will Reopen on March 14
A new update to the Oga’s Cantina website shows that the fan-favorite lounge will reopen on Saturday, March 14.
Currently, the website shows that the Cantina will be open from 10 AM until 11 PM.
It should be noted, however, that Disney has yet to make any kind of official announcement.
So, for now, the reopening date is speculative. Hopefully, we learn more soon.
