Dr. Seeker Bids Farewell to DINOSAUR at Cast Member Event
If you have been reading along here at MickeyBlog, you know that the countdown to extinction finally struck zero yesterday for DinoLand, U.S.A., and the land is now officially closed.
With the end of the DinoLand story, Restaurantosaurus served its last burger, and the final Time Rover returned from the Cretaceous Period on DINOSAUR.
Or so we thought.
Dr. Seeker Bids Farewell to DINOSAUR
While it is true that DINOSAUR is now officially closed to guests, Cast Members had the opportunity to ride the attraction one last time today and say their goodbyes.

On hand for the farewell was Wallace Langham, who portrays Dr. Seeker in the attraction’s iconic preshow film.
Yesterday, we saw dozens of guests dress up as Disney Parks characters to say goodbye to DINOSAUR. Today, the real deal himself showed up.

Photographer Michael Huang shared a photo with Langham in the Rope Drop Humor Facebook group.
“This morning, I met this guy in a white lab coat who tried to get me and my friends into a Time Rover. Granted, it was tempting. But it was not something we were seeking this cold, cold morning. So, we politely declined,” Huang captioned the post.
A Special Cast Member Event
While it was certainly moving to see guests say goodbye to DINOSAUR yesterday, it’s great to hear that Cast Members were given time to experience the attraction one final time.
As we saw with the closure of Muppet*Vision 3D, Disney often makes an effort to give the Cast Members who bring these attractions to life a special send-off.
Being able to say goodbye to DINOSAUR with Dr. Seeker himself certainly fits the bill.
