The Disney Skyline Has Reopened After Its Yearly Refurbishment
If you have been reading along here at MickeyBlog, you know that we have been closely following the refurbishment of the Disney Skyliner.
Every January, the Most Magical Flight on Earth temporarily shuts down for a quick renovation. While the closure never lasts long, it can be a major inconvenience for guests staying at a Skyliner resort.

This year, the iconic Disney transportation system closed on January 25 for a six-day refurbishment.
Transporation Changes
With the Skyliner down, guests staying at Disney’s Caribbean Beach, Riviera, Pop Century, and Art of Animation Resorts needed to rely on alternate transportation to reach EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

As we previously reported, additional bus transportation was available at the affected resorts.
Guests also had the opportunity to order a Minnie Van or drive.

Now, we are back with another update.
The Skyliner Has Reopened
After a six-day absence, it is my pleasure to announce that the Disney Skyliner is once again open.

Guests staying at Skyliner resorts can now take flight over Walt Disney World once again, traveling to EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios with ease.
As expected, no major changes have been made to the transportation system. Instead, routine maintenance has been completed, and the Skyliner is back in operation.

We should now have another 12 months of uninterrupted service before the next annual refurbishment.
As always, be sure to check back with MickeyBlog. We will continue to update you on all the news coming out of Walt Disney World.
