Disney Cruise Line Adjusts Bahamas Itinerary Due to Weather
Central Florida guests are not the only ones experiencing cold weather and vacation updates.
Disney Cruise Line is making changes to its latest Bahamas sailing aboard the Disney Wish due to forecasted strong winds and rough sea conditions.
DCL Update

The company confirmed that “we have been monitoring a weather system that will impact our planned stop at Disney’s Castaway Cay.”
“Given anticipated strong winds and adverse sea conditions predicted in the Bahamas overnight on Saturday and during the day on Sunday, we will not be able to visit Castaway Cay as scheduled,” the line said in a statement sent to guests onboard.

The ship will spend an extra day docked in Nassau. “The safety and well-being of our guests and crew members is our highest priority. We appreciate your understanding regarding this necessary itinerary change.”
The cruise line also added that the revised schedule will still deliver the experience “guests have come to expect from Disney Cruise Line.”

DCL is not the only cruise ship making adjustments. Margaritaville at Sea also made similar updates to its Bahamas itinerary this week due to high winds.
