2026 runDisney Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend Shines
Thousands of runners took to the streets of Anaheim earlier today for the highly anticipated runDisney Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend.

As part of Disneyland Resort’s spectacular 70th Celebration, participants trekked across a 13.1-mile course, weaving through Disney California Adventure, Disneyland Park, and the surrounding streets.

The race capped off a weekend filled with themed activities, an expo, special events, and more, including yoga sessions, kids’ races, a 5K, and a 10K.
Runners dashed past fan-fave Disney landmarks as music, cheering characters, and enthusiastic crowds made every mile feel magical.

Leading the way, Ismiain Hernandez of Mexico City won first place in the men’s division with a time of 1:12:20.

Itzel Bautista, also from Mexico City, finished first among women at 1:20:53.

2026 runDisney Events
The fun is just kicking off as plenty more events are coming your way. The next event is the 2026 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend at Walt Disney World Resort.
From February 26- March 2, 2026, runners experience a fairy-tale weekend where you can embrace your fate during the Disney Princess 5K.
Check out the Disney Princess 10K, the Disney Princess Half Marathon, or take on the Disney Fairytale Challenge, made up of both the 10K and Half Marathon.
