Another Closure Hits Typhoon Lagoon as Cold Weather Persists
Every winter, millions of guests head to Walt Disney World to escape the cold and soak up some fun in the sun.
Unfortunately, Central Florida has been experiencing a cold spell of its own over the past couple of weeks.

While cooler temperatures don’t necessarily derail a Disney vacation, unusual weather can still lead to operational changes across The Most Magical Place on Earth.
Typhoon Lagoon Has Been Closed
Perhaps most notably, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon has largely been shuttered recently, as the water park closes when temperatures dip too low.

Now, we are back with another update.
The Water Park Will Remain Closed Early Next Week
With cold weather continuing to batter Central Florida, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon will remain closed throughout the early part of next week.
As of this writing, the water park will be shuttered through Tuesday, February 3.

With temperatures expected to creep up to 68 next Wednesday, it looks like Typhoon Lagoon will reopen on February 4.
Unfortunately, the weather will then cool off again, likely leading to more closures.

With temperatures in the 50s and low 60s, it is hard to imagine that Typhoon Lagoon will be open for long.
For now, however, we will have to wait and see.

As always, be sure to check back with MickeyBlog. We will continue to update you on all the news coming out of Walt Disney World.
