Walt Disney Imagineering recently offered a rare peek into the creative magic behind The Perch, the cozy new lounge that fans are raving about.

The Lounge itself is stunning. However, the highlight is a breathtaking stained-glass window that feels as if it has always belonged in this Victorian-inspired resort.
Each panel was thoughtfully sketched, color-tested, and refined to complement the lobby’s existing architecture while adding a fresh vibe to the space.
Imagineers blended traditional Victorian stained-glass motifs with native Florida birds and botanicals. The result? A scene that feels both classic and familiar.
The glass itself is a mix of rich textures and tones that are carefully chosen to glow at different times of day and shift with the Florida sun.
The stained glass is stunning, and knowing that every piece was cut, placed, and assembled by hand makes The Perch even more special.
