That’s right–the Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration isn’t the only anniversary guests can dive into this year. DCA is celebrating a monumental milestone of its own–two-and-a-half decades of operation! (Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa and Downtown Disney were introduced as part of the second park expansion, so they’re also celebrating 25 years.)
Of course, it wouldn’t be an anniversary celebration without special, limited-time offerings. Let’s check out how the park is celebrating its 25th anniversary!
25th Anniversary Offerings – Disney California Adventure

Outfits
In honor of the anniversary, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse will sport all-new outfits on Buena Vista Street, starting February 6th!
Their limited-time costumes will feature the park’s original sun statue and aesthetic, with sun motifs and bright hues!

Soarin’ Over California Returns
Soarin’ Over California, the opening day iteration of the attraction, will return for a limited time! From February 6th through July 1st, guests can head over to the ride to soar through California’s gorgeous locations.
(Don’t forget, the brand-new Soarin’ Across America will take over the attraction on July 2nd!)

Food, Bucket, and Merchandise
Anniversary Cake Shake
From February 6th through February 15th, Schmoozies! will serve up an anniversary-inspired cake shake! It’s a confetti shake with strawberry icing, sprinkles, whipped topping, and a slice of cake!

Pixar Pal-A-Round Bucket
Whether you’re a swinging gondola adrenaline junkie or a non-swinging fan, you’ll love the Pixar Pal-A-Round Bucket! The novelty bucket is themed after the attraction, with “Magic Inside” technology that reacts to select locations in both Disneyland Park and DCA.
It will change color and light up with special patterns to enhance your experience in certain lands and attractions! It will also amplify some nighttime spectaculars, too.

Commemorative Map
On February 8th, while supplies last, guests may receive a complimentary commemorative map while entering DCA!

Humphrey the Bear at Storytellers Cafe
NEW CHARACTER ALERT! Humphrey the Bear, a “snack-loving bear of Brownstone National Park,” will make his first Disney Parks appearance at Storytellers Cafe beginning February 6th! (You may have seen him in some Disney animated shorts.)
He will add to the list of characters guests can meet during Donald’s Tales of Adventure dinner buffet.

The following locations are serving specialty menu items in honor of the resort’s anniversary celebrations:
Beignets Expressed (Available now through Aug. 9)
- Bananas Foster beignets dipped in a banana rum glaze, sprinkled with cinnamon-sugar, and served with a vanilla crème anglaise
Jazz Kitchen Coastal Grill & Patio (Available now through Aug. 9)
- French “70”: an effervescent blend of gin, prosecco, lemon juice, and lavender simple syrup (for guests ages 21 and older)
Kayla’s Cake (Available now through May 31)
- Strawberry yogurt macaron croissant: crisp macaron batter baked on top of a butter croissant, filled with strawberry yogurt custard crea,m and topped with sprinkles
- Pistachio macaron croissant: butter croissant topped with crisp macaron batter, filled with pistachio custard cream, and dusted with edible gold glitter
Vista Parkside Market (Available second Saturday of every month)
- Parkside Birders Club: fun-filled opportunity for guests ages 21 and older to taste and learn how to make three cocktails, enjoy light bites, plus receive a $20 bounce back for Parkside Market and a collectible pin. More information is available on Disneyland.com.
