REMINDER: Magic Kingdom Is Closing EARLY Today
If you are a frequent Walt Disney World visitor, you know that January can be a magical time to visit the resort.
With the holiday crowds dissipated, the EPCOT Festival of the Arts underway, and spring on the horizon, now is a great opportunity to visit The Most Magical Place on Earth.

You do, however, have to make sure you plan ahead.
As we have seen over the last several days, cold weather and ongoing refurbishments have led to operational changes across Walt Disney World, including the temporary closure of Typhoon Lagoon and the suspension of the Disney Skyliner.

Now, we can add today’s unusual Magic Kingdom park hours to the list.
Magic Kingdom Is Closing Early
As we previously reported, Magic Kingdom will be closing early this afternoon to facilitate the annual Cast Member service celebration taking place at the park tonight.

The special event honors Walt Disney World Cast Members who have reached significant career milestones, ranging from 10 to 50 years of service.
To prepare for the celebration, Magic Kingdom will close to regular guests at 4:30 PM.

So, if you are visiting the park today, be sure to enjoy your favorite attractions while you can.
Disney World’s Other Parks Will Be Open Later
The good news is that Disney’s Hollywood Studios and EPCOT are both open until 9 PM tonight, while Disney’s Animal Kingdom will remain open until 6 PM.

If you have a Disney Park Hopper ticket or an Annual Pass, you can head to one of the other three parks to keep the magic going.
Magic Kingdom will return to its normal operating hours tomorrow.
