‘Lilo & Stitch,’ ‘Elio,’ and ‘Zootopia 2’ Receive BAFTA Nominations!
Congrats to Walt Disney Studios and Pixar! Disney’s animation teams are celebrating big today.
Three beloved stories are earning coveted BAFTA Film Awards nominations, and fans are excited.
Today’s Nominations
BAFTA officially announced its awards early this morning in London. You can see a complete of the nominations here.

BAFTA
Pixar’s Elio and Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Zootopia 2 are both nominated for Best Animated Film, while the live‑action Lilo & Stitch is recognized in the Best Children’s & Family Film category.
Elio, Little Amélie, and Zootopia 2 were all nominated for Best Animated Film.

These nominations further highlight how globally Disney storytelling has become and reflect an interesting Box Office year.

It also arrived in a year packed with award attention, from the Golden Globes to the Oscars. These awards are reinforcing the studios’ influence in today’s animation and family filmmaking.
BAFTA
The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) is an arts institution that supports and promotes film, television, and game industries in the UK.
Best known for hosting the BAFTA awards, these are considered the equivalent of the Oscars.
