YUM! You Can Get Tanghulu for a Limited Time in Disney California Adventure!
The 2026 Lunar New Year festival has taken over Disney California Adventure (DCA)!
The celebration lasts through February 22nd, and we’re experiencing everything it has to offer.
So far, we’ve celebrated the Year of the Horse by digging into specialty cuisine from the festival marketplaces, meeting the red panda, shopping through festive merchandise, and watching limited-time entertainment.
And we spotted another Lunar New Year treat that wasn’t listed in the foodie guide. Let’s check it out!

Tanghulu Creations, an independent vendor, is serving guests specialty treats from a small cart across from the Cars Land entrance!

Tanghulu is a traditional Chinese treat, which is essentially a fresh fruit skewer, coated in melted sugar.

They’re serving the following skewers:
- Strawberry Skewer: $9.50
- Mandarin Skewer: $9.50
- Grape Skewer: $8

We opted for the Strawberry Skewer! Our skewer had three strawberries, covered in melted sugar goodness.
The sugary syrup coating created a nice crunch, and the fruit retained all of its delicious flavor, creating the perfect bite.
