How to Get Around With the Disney Skyliner Closed
As the new year continues at Walt Disney World, The Most Magical Place on Earth has several projects underway.
While much of the attention has been focused on the ongoing construction of Tropical Americas at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Piston Peak at Magic Kingdom, and Monstropolis at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, a smaller refurbishment has also kicked off that could impact your Disney World vacation.

I’m talking, of course, about the annual refurbishment of the Disney Skyliner.
The Skyliner Refurbishment Has Begun
As we previously reported, the Disney Skyliner closed yesterday for what is expected to be a short refurbishment.

At this time, the transportation system is set to reopen on January 31, meaning The Happiest Flight on Earth will return in no time.

Nevertheless, guests staying at select resorts this week will be unable to board the Skyliner.
Alternate Modes of Transportation
While the transportation system is down, guests staying at Disney’s Caribbean Beach, Pop Century, Riviera, and Art of Animation Resorts will need to use alternate transportation to reach EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

The good news is that during the refurbishment, complimentary bus service is being offered from the aforementioned resorts to both EPCOT and Hollywood Studios.

Additionally, guests also have the option to order a Minnie Van or drive their own vehicle and park.
Make Sure You Plan Ahead
So, if you have an upcoming Walt Disney World vacation, be sure to plan ahead.

You may not be able to soar high above The Most Magical Place on Earth, but that doesn’t mean you won’t be able to get around.
