Gordon Ramsay Visits Disneyland as Construction of Carnaby Tavern Continues
If you’ve been reading along here at MickeyBlog, you know that we’ve been closely following the ongoing transformation of Disneyland’s Downtown Disney District.
Over the past several months, we’ve seen numerous changes take place across the shopping and dining district, including the opening of Cathy’s Cookies, the demolition of the former temporary Earl of Sandwich location, and construction beginning on the future home of Porto’s Bakery.

And then, of course, there’s Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby.
Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby
Originally announced last year, The Carnaby will offer diners a Gordon Ramsay spin on classic British fare.

Drawing inspiration from Carnaby Street and British pop culture of the 1960s, the restaurant will be located on the second floor of the new Earl of Sandwich building that is currently under construction.

Needless to say, fans are excited.

While there, the world-renowned chef posed for a photo with Mickey Mouse and Disneyland Resort President Thomas Mazloum.
All three were all smiles for the picture.
When Will the Restaurant Open
While Disneyland has not yet announced an official opening date for The Carnaby, the restaurant is expected to welcome its first diners later this year.
