Main Sign Removed from Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin in Magic Kingdom
Magic Kingdom is sort of a hub of construction right now in Disney World. There is work being done on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and the former Tom Sawyer Island in Frontierland, Pete’s Silly Sideshow in Storybook Circus, and we’re about to see work start on repainting Cinderella Castle.

Tomorrowland is also seeing some construction with the refurbishment of Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin! And, we have an update on how the work is going, so come along with us to check it out.
Sign Removed at Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin
The signs have been removed from Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin in Tomorrowland.

The Star Command Headquarters sign has been removed…

…as well as the sign that held the wait time display and Lightning Lane entrance.

Here’s what it looked like just a couple of weeks ago. I wonder if it’s getting an entirely new sign or if they just needed to remove this one to complete other work. We’ll have to wait and see!

Walls Up – Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin
Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin is closed right now for refurbishment and is supposed to open sometime this spring.

Updates to the ride include a new show scene, updated ride vehicles, and gameplay enhancements. There will even be an all-new character — Buddy the friendly robot!

Here’s another look at the construction happening!

It looks like they still have a pretty long way to go.

We can’t wait to see the enhancements when it’s completed! We will let you know when Disney announces an official reopening date.

Stay tuned for more Disney World news and updates!
