Bob Iger Made $45.8 Million in Compensation Last Year as His Disney Tenure Draws to a Close
As Bob Iger’s tenure as CEO of The Walt Disney Company winds down, the longtime executive remains one of the highest-paid figures in Hollywood.
Ahead of Disney’s Q1 earnings report next month, the company released compensation details for its top executives.

Bob Iger’s Compensation Increased Last Year
In 2025, Bob Iger earned $45,842,573 for his work at The Walt Disney Company.

Breaking that figure down, Iger received a $1 million base salary, along with $21 million in stock awards, $14 million in option awards, $7.25 million in non-equity incentive plan compensation, and $2.592 million in other compensation.
Notably, Iger’s annual compensation has continued to rise, increasing from $31.5 million in 2023 to $41.1 million in 2024 and now $45.8 million last year.

Not bad for a man who was once expected to be long retired by now.
Succession Is Coming
Speaking of retirement, Disney’s Board of Directors reiterated that it plans to name Iger’s successor early this year.

With January drawing to a close, we should finally have a clearer picture of Disney’s leadership plans in the coming months.
Other Disney Executives’ Compensation Decreased
It’s also worth noting that while Iger’s compensation increased last year, several other Disney executives saw their pay decline.
Hugh Johnston, Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, saw his compensation decrease from $24.48 million in 2024 to $20.17 million last year.

Similarly, Sonia L. Coleman, Senior Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer, saw her compensation fall from $7.56 million in 2024 to $7.37 million last year.
Finally, Kristina K. Schake’s compensation dropped from $6.43 million in 2024 to $6.16 million last year.
