Every winter, millions of guests head to Walt Disney World to escape the cold and enjoy some fun in the sun.
Unfortunately, Central Florida has been experiencing a cold spell of its own over the past several days.

While cooler temperatures do not necessarily need to derail your Disney vacation, unusual weather can lead to operational changes across The Most Magical Place on Earth.
Typhoon Lagoon Remains Closed
For example, with highs in the 50s and 60s over the last several days, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon has remained closed due to cold weather.

While there was initially hope that the water park would resume normal operations this week, the forecast has not cooperated.
With a high of just 63 degrees today, Typhoon Lagoon is once again closed.

Looking ahead, however, warmer temperatures are on the horizon.
Unfortunately for guests, the current Walt Disney World calendar shows that the water park will once again be closed on Thursday.

Interestingly, Disney World is forecast to be warmer on Thursday than it will be tomorrow. Nevertheless, Typhoon Lagoon is expected to open tomorrow before closing the following day.
Warmer Weather Is Coming
The good news for guests is that temperatures are expected to climb into the 80s over the weekend, which should return Typhoon Lagoon to normal operations.
