Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire Moves to Afternoons!

We just noticed an update impacting Disney’s entertainment schedule, and you will want to stay in the know.
Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire Moves
With Cinderella Castle currently undergoing a major repainting project, Disney entertainment schedules appear to be shifting, and at least one popular castle-area show is now showing up later in the day.
Disney previously confirmed that Cinderella Castle would be refreshed with a new look inspired by its original colors.
The castle’s rose-pink and royal blue color scheme was introduced in 2020 as part of Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary celebration, and it stayed around longer than many fans expected.
The transformation is officially underway, and Disney previously shared that construction equipment may be visible during the project.

MickeyBlog also reported that “Let the Magic Begin”, the welcome show that took place in front of Cinderella Castle in the mornings, was removed from the entertainment showtimes list as of January 27, 2026.

Today, we noticed one more change–Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire has moved to the afternoons. Beginning Wednesday, January 28, the showtimes are listed at 1 PM, 2:05 PM, and 4 PM.
Disney has not released any additional information connecting the repainting to the entertainment changes.
