Disney Lorcana Will Expand This February With ‘Winterspell’
If you’re a Disney fan, chances are you’ve already heard of Disney Lorcana.
Since its launch in August 2023, the trading card game has captivated both hardcore players and casual fans with its dynamic gameplay, expanding community, and beautifully illustrated cards.
In the game, players take on the role of an Illumineer, wielding six magical inks to summon glimmers—beloved Disney characters and items brought to life on the cards.
Over the past two years, the game has exploded in popularity.

Get Ready For ‘Winterspell’
On February 12, 2026, a new era in Disney Lorcana history will begin with the release of the Winterspell set.

The upcoming Disney Lorcana collection will see a frozen blast cast by an Elsa glimmer go awry, creating a flurry of snow and ice unlike anything the realm has ever seen before.
In the Winterspell set, players will discover new glimmers, including cards featuring Pocahontas, Angel, and Darkwing Duck.

“Wintertime is such a reminiscent theme for so many of us. Lots of people have fond memories of snowball fights, spending time with loved ones, or sipping hot cocoa, and we wanted to bring that feeling of cozy, winter fun to Winterspell,” said Naomi Kim, Product Manager at Ravensburger for Disney Lorcana TCG.

Let it Snow
Ahead of Winterspell’s release, Ravensburger has revealed that two Iconic cards from the set — Moana/Curious Explorer and Pocahontas/Peacekeeper — will feature a papercut style, reminiscent of paper snowflake decorations.

Additionally, select cards in the Winterspell set will feature a similar motif with a Frost foil effect.

When Will the Set Be Released?
Winterspell will be pre-released at local game stores and in Disney Stores on February 13, 2026.
