An Exterior Refurbishment Is Coming to ‘Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
If you’ve ever had the opportunity to stay at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, you know there’s nothing quite like dining at ’Ohana.
Since replacing the Papeete Bay Verandah in 1995, the restaurant has become beloved for its generous portions, tropical atmosphere, and friendly staff.

Home to the iconic Tonga Toast, the restaurant offers two unique dining experiences: the Best Friends Breakfast featuring Lilo & Stitch, and an all-you-care-to-enjoy dinner featuring Hawaiian-flavored specialties.
These include dishes like grilled teriyaki beef, spicy peel-n-eat shrimp, grilled chicken, and ʻOhana Noodles. Guests can also satisfy their sweet tooth with pineapple coconut bread pudding and vanilla ice cream.

There is nothing like the flavors of the South Pacific!
If you ask me, no trip to Walt Disney World is complete without a stop at ’Ohana.
A Refurbishment of ‘Ohana Is Coming
Unfortunately for guests visiting Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort this month, ’Ohana is undergoing an exterior refurbishment.
The work kicked off on January 15.

During the renovations, the restaurant’s views of the Seven Seas Lagoon may be partially or completely obstructed.
The good news is that ’Ohana will remain open throughout the construction.
