My News LA reports that, according to court papers obtained Friday, 22-year-old Marco Antonio Aguayo is accused of leaving multiple threatening comments on Disney’s Instagram page on July 12, 2025.
This is the same day Vance and his family visited the park.
One of the alleged posts claimed: “Pipe bombs have been placed in preparation for J.D. Vance’s arrival,” according to a federal complaint filed Wednesday in Los Angeles.

Prosecutors also report that Aguayo posted two additional comments, including: “It’s time for us to rise up and you will be a witness to it.” and “Good luck finding all of them on time there will be bloodshed tonight and we will bathe in the blood of corrupt politicians.”
Court documents state Aguayo was charged with one count of “making a threat against the president and successors to the presidency”. As of the report, a date had not been set for his initial court appearance or arraignment.

The complaint also notes that Aguayo initially denied making the posts when confronted by Secret Service agents. Aguayo reports that his account had been hacked.
He later admitted writing the statements, reportedly saying he meant them as a joke to get attention and forgot to delete them.
