Is This the MOST CROWDED Festival Day We’ve Ever Seen at EPCOT?!
Here at MickeyBlog, we’re incredibly grateful and lucky to be able to visit Walt Disney World regularly. No matter the season, our reporters are always happy to be wandering through the parks, admiring everything going on all throughout the year!
Today, of course, marks the very beginning of the 2026 EPCOT Festival of the Arts. It’s the first EPCOT festival of 2026, and we couldn’t miss it for the world!
In fact, we always make it a priority to attend all of the four EPCOT festivals throughout the year, also including the Food & Wine Festival, the Festival of the Holidays, and the Flower & Garden Festival.
Because of this, we’re able to share all the latest news and reviews on our blog…and it also means we’ve seen a lot through the years here at EPCOT!
2026 Festival of the Arts
Today, however, something feels different.
The park is SO BUSY!
Now, don’t get us wrong…we know that crowds are always wild during the start of any EPCOT festival.
However, today seems to be packed out on a whole other level, and our reporters are dubbing it the busiest festival start they’ve seen in years.
Around the World Showcase, we would estimate that each of the marketplace kitchens has wait times of at least half an hour, showing guests must be very eager to get those snacks!
The artist booths dotted around the promenade are also hard to get into, with far too many people eager to get a look at the creations on offer!
Over in the Morocco Pavilion, the line to enter the Illumineer’s Lounge — the hub of activity for this year’s quest experiences inspired by Disney Lorcana — stretches all the way out of the building…
…and right around the corner!
With the festival just getting started, we’re interested to see just how busy the parks will be as the event continues through the winter.
If you’re planning a visit to EPCOT, make sure you’re ready to do some waiting, and be careful!
