Disney World Wakes Up to a Chilly Morning and Cold Temps
If you’re heading to Walt Disney World today, bundle up. Central Florida is getting hit with a significant cold snap, and temperatures are chilly!
According to local weather outlets in Orlando, scattered showers lingering from Thursday have ushered in a cold front, and here is how it is impacting the weekend!
Cold Temps and Chilly Weather

A Freeze Warning is in place for much of Central Florida from 1 a.m. to 9 a.m., with some areas expected to drop to or below freezing.
FOX 35 reports the coldest temperatures between 3 a.m. and 8 a.m., with lows falling into the mid to upper 20s.

Other areas will be around 30–34° in Orange, Seminole, and western Volusia counties, and closer to the mid-30s in Brevard and southern Volusia counties.
Even if you’re not in the coldest spots, the wind will make it feel even colder.

Northerly gusts of 15–20 mph could push wind chills into the 20s.
The good news? Friday will bring sunshine, but it won’t warm up much. Expect highs to stay in the 50s, so plan for a chilly day in the parks, especially if you are heading to EPCOT Festival of the Arts!
Weekend Weather
Looking ahead, Saturday morning will still start cold with lows in the 30s and 40s, but afternoon highs get closer to 70° under partly sunny skies.

But keep out the cold-weather apparel! Another cold front could move in Sunday, bringing scattered showers and another round of unusually cold temperatures for Monday morning, with some areas near freezing again.
