‘Drawing on Inspiration’ Celebrates Art and Inspiration at EPCOT’s Festival of the Arts

Get ready, festival fans! The EPCOT International Festival of the Arts is just a few days away!

Now, guests visiting the theme park can see the early signs of booths getting ready to open and step into the early stages of Disney creativity at the Drawing on Inspiration display.

This year’s exhibit focuses on Disney theme park concept art and its role in shaping attractions, lands, and immersive experiences.

Drawing on Inspiration

You can find the display in the breezeway between World Celebration and World Discovery, between Club Cool and Creations Shop.

The location makes it an easy stop while exploring the front of the park.

When Walt Disney Imagineers begin dreaming up a new attraction or land, the process often starts with a simple sketch.

These early drawings capture the project’s concept and tone before any detailed plans exist.

From there, sketches grow into refined concept art, character studies, and architectural designs that guide construction and storytelling. Many of which can you see here!

Fans will love seeing the early stages of some of their favorite attractions.

The exhibit features so many great sketches created by current Imagineers who draw inspiration from Disney Parks around the globe.
