Disney World Will Cool Off This Week as Florida Faces Temperature Drop
If you are someone who lives in a cold-weather state, you know there is nothing like escaping the freezing temperatures and snow for some fun in the sun and at Walt Disney World.
Even in the heart of winter, guests visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth can usually count on warm temperatures and a respite from the cold.

Occasionally, however, things do cool off in Florida.
A Look at the Forecast
With a strong cold front passing through Central Florida this week, Walt Disney World will see colder-than-normal temperatures.

While the early part of the week will remain temperate, we will see thunderstorms and cooler weather later.
As you can see, next Friday the high will only reach 55 degrees!

Here is how the weather could affect your Disney vacation.
What to Expect at Disney World
While there is no reason that cooler weather should derail your Walt Disney World vacation, it may lead to some operational changes across the resort.

For example, Disney has already announced that Typhoon Lagoon will close through January 15.
Given those weekend temperatures, it seems certain the closure will extend through January 17.

So, if you plan on visiting Disney World this week, make sure you plan ahead!
With cold temperatures in the forecast, you may want to shuffle some things around to get some fun in the sun earlier in the week.
