It Looks Like Ariel Is Returning to Walt Disney Presents at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
As a new year unfolds at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, it looks like a fan-favorite character meet-and-greet is set to return.
Since 2023, guests visiting the Animation Courtyard have had the opportunity to meet Ariel in the Walt Disney Presents Theater.

The new meet-and-greet debuted in conjunction with the release of Disney’s live-action The Little Mermaid and has been going strong ever since.
Last October, however, Ariel was evicted from her traditional location to make room for Santa Claus, who set up shop in Walt Disney Presents during the holiday season.
A Temporary Move
While guests could still find the beloved mermaid in a new location, the temporary meet-and-greet did not have the same ambiance as Walt Disney Presents.
Now, it looks like Ariel is getting ready to move back home.

A new update to the Walt Disney World calendar has revealed that Meet Ariel at Walt Disney Presents will reopen on January 12.

While Disney has yet to make an official announcement regarding Ariel’s return, the attraction website shows that the meet-and-greet will be open from 9 AM to 5 PM next Monday.
Now, it is important to note that website attraction hours are occasionally wrong.
So, there is a slight chance that Ariel will not return to Walt Disney Presents as expected.
For now, however, Little Mermaid fans have every reason to be excited as it looks like Ariel’s permanent home in Hollywood Studios will soon reopen.
