While Magic Kingdom and EPCOT offer festivities of their own, Hollywood Studios has some special surprises hidden under its sleeve. Let’s check it out!
New Year’s Eve at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
First, it’s important to note that if you ever visit Disney World during the holiday season, you will likely encounter crowds. However, when we arrived at the park, we found the crowds to be fairly thin!
Hollywood Studios on New Year’s Eve
Now let’s get into all the festivities! There are several exclusive celebrations throughout the park, including:
- Center Stage Dance Party starting at 6:00 PM
- Pixar Dance Party in Pixar Plaza from 6:00 PM to 11:30 PM
- Early New Year countdowns for kids every hour from 7:00- 11:00 PM
- Star Wars character encounters in Galaxy’s Edge
Throughout the night at varying times, live music can be found at the Courtyard of the Hollywood Tower Hotel and on Grand Avenue.

Daisy’s Party Hat station was located across from ABC Commissary from 6:00PM to 11:30PM.

And finally, the New Year Countdown Fireworks show begins at 11:57PM! The best viewing area is located in front of the Chinese Theatre.
