Massive Crowds Descend on Disney World as New Year’s Approaches
The holiday season continues at Disney World with festive decorations, entertainment, food, and so much more. With all these exciting offerings, it means that a large number of people want to experience them for themselves.

We’ve seen big crowds and very long wait times over the past few days, and they just seem to be getting worse as New Year’s approaches. Let’s go see the crowds today in the parks!
Holiday Crowds at Disney World
We went over to Hollywood Studios first today and were met with HUGE crowds! This was the view down Hollywood Boulevard when we got into the park.

We turned right onto Sunset Boulevard and the crowds did not let up!

Just look at all of those people — yikes!

You really have to pay attention to your surroundings when the parks are this busy so you don’t run into anyone.

We saw a bunch of people heading to the Tower of Terror and Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster.

Tower of Terror has an ‘end of line’ sign all the way out on the street.

It snaked over to the left side of the street, too.

This is when the line is very expanded — you do not normally wait down here!

Moving toward Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster, we saw a Cast Member with a directional sign to try and keep foot traffic somewhat organized.

Then, right after passing under the limo, we saw the end-of-line sign for the ride.

Would you wait this long for this ride? All of these people seem to be okay with it!

We made our way back down Sunset with some difficulty.

Then, we checked out the line for Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway.

It was also using an expanded line and was way longer than usual.

Oh boy!

Something really surprising was seeing the line for The Little Mermaid: A Musical Adventure.

It was also using an end-of-line sign outside of its usual queue!

Okay, time to move over to Toy Story Land. Wish us luck!

Just as we suspected, there are 1 million people over here.

This land feels kind of crowded on a normal day, so it’s kind of a nightmare today!

The Slinky Dog Dash wait time was at 120 minutes.

Galaxy’s Edge was no better — so many people!

The line for Rise of the Resistance was LONG.

It just kept going…

…and going…

…and going!

There were also long lines for things like Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular.

Looking at the wait times, you can see why the lines are so long. Multiple rides had wait times over 2 hours.

We also went over to Magic Kingdom later in the day and the crowds were so bad that even Starbucks had to use an end of line sign!
