A noticeable cooldown is on the way for Central Florida as the New Year approaches, and guests visiting Walt Disney World Resort should plan for cooler park days and cold mornings.
Updated Weather Forecast
If you are visiting Disney World this week, you may want to pack some extra layers. Forecasts indicate winter-like temperatures will settle in as 2026 begins.

What to Expect This Week
- A cold front arrives Monday, December 29 into Tuesday
- Morning lows drop into the upper 30s and low 40s
- New Year’s Eve highs stay in the low 60s
- New Year’s Day warms slightly into the mid-60s
Early mornings and late nights will feel cold by Central Florida standards, especially around fireworks and outdoor events.
