PHOTOS: Guests Can Experience Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Attraction Overlays During Normal Hours This Week
If you have been reading along here at MickeyBlog, you know that Walt Disney World has been celebrating the holidays for months now.
Over the past several weeks, we have been reporting live from The Most Magical Place on Earth, bringing you updates on all the festive fun, including the return of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom.
While Disney World’s signature holiday event has come and gone for 2025, guests visiting Magic Kingdom are getting the chance to experience some of the party’s festivities during regular park hours.
Now, we have more exciting news to share.
Traditional Guests Can Ride the Very Merry Christmas Attraction Overlays
Guests visiting Magic Kingdom during the week of Christmas will get the chance to experience numerous attractions with their Very Merry Christmas Party overlays during regular park hours.
Tomorrowland Speedway: Race Through the Holidays
In Tomorrowland, guests can race on the Tomorrowland Speedway: Race Through the Holidays, which sees the iconic track surrounded by festive, futuristic decor and twinkling lights.
A special Christmas soundtrack also plays!
The overlay transforms the Tomorrowland Speedway into a completely new experience.
Space Mountain Holiday Overlay
On the other side of Tomorrowland, the Christmas version of Space Mountain will continue to run for regular guests this week.
The holiday overlay sees the iconic roller coaster come to life with flashing Christmas lights, strobe effects, and a rocking Christmas soundtrack!
Christmas at the Mad Tea Party
Last, but certainly not least, we have the Mad Tea Party.
For a limited time, guests can spin along to 4 holiday light-and-music combos.
If you are a fan of the classic Disney attraction, this is an experience you will not want to miss!
