Getting a Seat at Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto Just Got Even Easier
Fans of Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto got some exciting news earlier this week when the beloved lounge expanded its hours.
Going forward, the Polynesian hot spot will begin opening its doors at 11 AM, allowing more guests than ever the opportunity to enjoy signature cocktails in an unparalleled atmosphere.
Since opening in 2015, Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto has proven to be immensely popular. This has made securing a seat in the lounge difficult, especially for guests not staying at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.
By expanding its hours, Trader Sam’s is doing everything it can to let as many patrons as possible visit.

Just days after the new Trader Sam’s hours were announced, the lounge made another operational change that should improve the guest experience.
Trader Sam’s Walk-Up List Has Been Added To the My Disney Experience App
Beginning today, guests can join the Trader Sam’s Grog Gotto walk-up list in the My Disney Experience app.
Now, patrons will no longer have to stop by the lounge ahead of time to secure their place in line.

They can simply open their Walt Disney World app and join the wait list!

Between the expanded hours and new mobile walk-up option, it will be easier than ever to sip on a Polynesian Pearl or enjoy a Nautilus at Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto.
