Disney Cruise Line Has Officially Taken Possession of the Disney Adventure
If you’re a frequent reader here at MickeyBlog, you already know just how excited we are for the launch of the Disney Adventure.
As the newest addition to the Disney Cruise Line fleet, the Adventure will make history as the first Disney ship to sail from Singapore, bringing Disney magic to an entirely new region.

Onboard, guests will be immersed in seven uniquely themed areas: Town Square, San Fransokyo Street, Toy Story Place, Disney Discovery Reef, Wayfinder Bay, Disney Imagination Garden, and Marvel Landing. They’ll also have the chance to experience Disney’s first-ever castle at sea.
The Ship’s Launch Was Delayed
While the Disney Adventure was initially expected to make its maiden voyage on December 15, 2025, the ship’s launch was delayed.

“As we work on the final touches to bring the Disney Adventure to our guests, we’ve encountered unexpected delays in the shipbuilding process. To ensure the experience we deliver reflects our commitment to excellence, we’ve made the decision to adjust our timeline.
“We know this may be disappointing to our guests, and we’re working directly with them to offer flexible rebooking options and uphold the trust they place in us,” Joe Schott, President of Disney Signature Experiences, explained last September.
Following the delay, the Adventure’s launch was rescheduled to March 12, 2026.
A Major Milestone
With just months to go until the vessel finally sets sail, the Disney Adventure is celebrating a major milestone.

Early this morning, the Disney Cruise Line took to Instagram to announce that Meyer Werft had handed over the ship!
“A new adventure begins 🌟 As Disney Cruise Line and shipbuilder Meyer Werft finalized the handover of the ship, the Disney Adventure is now one step closer to calling Singapore home! The Maiden Voyage sets sail March 2026, welcoming guests on board for magical moments at sea,” they explained.
