Disney Cascade of Lights Brings a New Nighttime Spectacle to Disneyland Paris
Exciting news, Disney fans! Disneyland Paris is getting ready to debut a major new nighttime show at Disney Adventure World. Get ready for the new Disney Cascade of Lights!
This mesmerizing nighttime spectacular officially launches on March 29, 2026, transforming Adventure Bay into a large-scale water, light, and drone experience like no other.
The Details

Each night, a massive structure weighing about 160 tonnes is positioned at the center of the 3-hectare lake. The platform features a central base connected to four barges, forming a shape that mirrors the lake’s contours.
The structure supports fountains, lighting, projectors, drones, and pyrotechnics that all move silently into place using electric boats operated by specially trained crews.

The show also features 379 custom aerial and aquatic drones developed with Dronisos. These include weather-resistant aerial drones and aquatic drones that illuminate the water’s surface.
The lake ultimately becomes a reflective stage where light multiplies across the water.
A team of 24 technicians will operate the show each evening, underscoring the production’s scale and complexity.
The Heart of the Show
Disney
Emotion and atirytelling are the foundation of the show, and the theme is Inspiration. Fans will see characters including Mulan, Moana, Hercules, Judy Hopps, the Avengers, and Carl Fredricksen appear as symbols of courage, love, and perseverance.
Inspiration serves as the link between the audience and these characters.
Music also plays a central role in driving the experience. Even more exciting? The show also features an original song titled “We Can Be Heroes.”

The production was designed with a whole 360-degree viewing experience in mind, using more than 240 lighting points and a carefully planned sound system across Adventure Bay.
Environmental considerations were also built into the show. Disneyland Paris is using electric boats, residue-free pyrotechnics, and a lake filtration system to protect the environment and minimize environmental impact.
