WATCH: Stitch Causes Mayhem After Crashing a Performance of ‘Aladdin’ on Broadway
23 years after audiences were first introduced to the loveable Experiment 626, Stitch may be more popular than ever.
Since the release of Disney’s live-action Lilo & Stitch earlier this year, Stitch-mania has swept the nation.

Over the last several months, we have seen Stitch pop up in movie theaters across the country, visit Graceland, and even make an appearance on The View.

Now, the beloved blue alien has taken his talents to Broadway!
Stitch Crashes a Performance of ‘Aladdin’
During a recent performance of Disney’s Aladdin, Stitch showed up unannounced at the New Amsterdam Theatre.

At the end of the show, Michael James Scott and the rest of the Aladdin cast appeared on stage to warn the audience that Stitch had been spotted on Broadway.
Right on cue, Stitch popped up in the theater’s balcony.

From there, he proceeded to drop confetti on the audience and cause mayhem in the orchestra pit.
Finally, the little blue alien ran on stage singing “A Whole New World” to thank the cast and celebrate his Broadway debut.

“Hello, Broadway!” he said. “Stitch wishes to thank the audience, the cast, and that lamp thing. Now, bye-bye,” he said before running off stage.
