Places Where You Can Eat Cheap at Disney World
By now, most Disney fans know that you can always find value at Disney Springs.
The sheer volume of restaurants fosters competition and, thereby, lower prices.

At Walt Disney World’s theme parks, it’s pretty much Disney or starvation.
So, Disney prices its meals accordingly. Still, savvy fans know that they are deals to be found.

Here are a few places where you eat cheap at Disney World.
We’re focusing exclusively on the theme parks, though. Go to Earl of Sandwich if you can.
Backlot Express

Backlot Express
My main criteria here is that the restaurant offers an affordable menu overall.
However, I’m introducing one other criterion. The menu must include at least one entree under $12.

So, we’ll start at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, where Backlot Express always treats guests right.
For $10.99 plus tax, you can order Chicken Strips or a Southwest Salad.

Every entree but one costs less than $14, and some of them, like the Cuban Sandwich, are exquisite.
When you’d like to splurge a bit, I highly recommend the Wookiee Cookie

Due to its combination of excellent location and solid menu, Backlot Express deserves much more love than it actually receives.
Casey’s Corner

You can’t mention value dining at Magic Kingdom without discussing Casey’s Corner.
This place doesn’t exactly offer tons of variety. It’s a hot dog and corn dog place.

Still, do you know what’s great about corn dogs and hot dogs? They’re cheap.
An All-Beef Hot Dog starts at $11.79, and you can get a footlong for $13.49.

When you want to eat cheaper, the iconic Mini Corn Dogs are just $10.99, and the tasty Plant-based Dog is $11.79.
Disney has stripped this menu to the point where it’s hard to do upsells here.

Should you want something more, the Chili Cheese French Fries cost $7.49, while the absolutely decadent Chipotle Barbecue Loaded Fries are $8.29.
So, even when you go big here, you still can’t spend more than $25.
Connections Eatery

Here’s another place with a ton of options, virtually all of which are reasonably priced.
The super-expensive item is the American Classic Burger, which costs $14.29.

Connections Cafe
You can shave off a few dollars by ordering a pizza, one that may be cheaper than your local Pizza Hut.
You can get two slices of Pepperoni Pizza for $11.79, or a Peruvian Salad for $11.29.

The most expensive side here, which I’ve never tried, is Black Garlic Truffle and Parmesan Fries.
This item costs $6.99, which tells me you’re probably not getting a lot of truffles.

By the way, the kids’ menu entrees are all less than $9.
There’s a reason why Connections Cafe is always crowded.
EPCOT Festivals

Then again, on most days, you shouldn’t eat at Connections Cafe.
You can choose more exotic dishes for cheaper prices at EPCOT festivals.

Disney has taken pride in keeping the prices of all these dishes under $10.
While inflation will eventually end that practice, we’re nowhere near that day yet.

So, you can eat some of Disney’s most creative dishes for about the same price as a Subway sandwich.
Let’s be honest. No one is choosing Subway in that scenario.

For this reason, you should always visit Disney World during an EPCOT festival if at all possible.
Flame Tree Barbecue

A friend of mine works as a Disney Cast Member right now, and she happily sends me pictures every time she dines at Flame Tree Barbecue.
Let’s just say I’m getting a lot of pictures because Cast Members receive dining discounts at the parks.

Since Flame Tree Barbecue’s entrees are already inexpensive, she’s eating cheaply.
Specifically, she’s ordering the Smoked Pulled Pork Sandwich for $12.49 or the Smokehouse Chicken Salad for $11.99.

In that same price range, you can grab a 1/2 Chicken or Baked Macaroni & Cheese with Pulled Pork.
Should you want to go large, you can order the still affordable Ribs and Chicken Combo for $15.99.

I’ll just level with you that I’m a carnivore, so I typically order the Ribs, Chicken, and Pulled Pork Sampler for $18.99
However, I’ll point out that I’m paying 50 percent more than the Pulled Pork Sandwich when I do that.

Flamingo Cupcake
As an aside, my wife loves the Plant-based Burnt Ends, which are comically cheap at $12.29.
Oh, and by the way, this place is often the starter restaurant in every Best Barbecue at Disney conversation.
Pinocchio’s Village Haus

Pinocchio Village Haus
Here’s my go-to for an afternoon lunch at Magic Kingdom.
Since this restaurant is located toward the back of the park, right behind Cinderella Castle, I often find myself in this area.

When I eat here, I know that I can find something I like.
The restaurant serves Chicken Strips for $10.99 or a Pepperoni Flatbread for $12.99.

Those are my favorites, but you can save even more money if you like.
Pinocchio’s Village Haus serves a Caesar Salad for $9.99.

Since the most expensive item in 2026 costs just $13.99, this place is ideal for eating at Magic Kingdom.
The food is fine, the location is great, and I absolutely adore the theme.
Sunshine Seasons

I’m trying to recommend a few places that you’ll walk by organically during your park visit.
Backlot Express and Casey’s Corner are two excellent examples.

Caramel Apple Milk Shake
Now we have another, as you’ll inevitably visit The Land pavilion when at EPCOT.
You’re missing the point when you skip Soarin’, and it’ll be even better in 2026 as Soarin’ Across America.

While you’re checking out the new version of the ride, you might as well walk across to the mall-like court area 100 feet away.
You can order a Capri Sandwich for $11.99, Stir-fried Chicken for $12.29, or a Pepperoni Flatbread for $12.99.

Sunshine Seasons also sells some rather daring menu items for a theme park counter service restaurant.
Foodies can try the Mongolian Beef for $13.49 or Oak Grilled Salmon for $14.79.

By the way, just in case you didn’t know, the salmon comes with ratatouille, which makes it oddly Disney-like.
Woody’s Lunch Box

One of these days, I’m going to write an article about Disney quick service restaurants and NOT mention Woody’s Lunch Box.
I always did that before the summer of 2018 before the restaurant opened.

Since then, this adorable shack has changed the game by serving some of the tastiest food at Hollywood Studios.
I suspect the place is always packed for this reason, but the price provides a nice bonus incentive.

My wife and my go-to menu options here cost $10.99 each.
I’m all about the Grilled Three-Cheese Sandwich, while she prefers the Plant-Based Toasted Cheddar Sandwich.

They also sell a delicious Smoked Turkey Sandwich for $11.49.
Note that some of the extras can add $10 or more to the menu depending on what you get.

You can add soup to your grilled cheese for $4.29 or Potato Barrels (aka tater tots) for $5.49.
I fervently believe you should always add a Lunch Box Tart to your order.

Raspberry Lunch Box Tart
It’s like an upscale Pop Tart for $5.29.
Disney even sells some seasonal ones like the current Hot Cocoa Lunch Box tart.

I’ll tell you right now that my favorite is the one they do during Valentine’s Day season.
So, as you can see, you can eat shockingly cheap at Walt Disney World when you pick the right places and menu items.
