Walt Disney World Golf Earns Prestigious National Golf Course Owners Association Award
While Walt Disney World is renowned for its theme parks, resorts, and restaurants, The Most Magical Place on Earth is also one of the world’s top golf destinations.
Guests visiting Walt Disney World have the opportunity to play on three 18-hole championship courses: Disney’s Magnolia, Palm, and Lake Buena Vista Golf Course.

Additionally, the resort is home to Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course, a 9-hole walking course.
Disney Golf Earns New Recognition
Disney has reason to celebrate today as the National Golf Course Owners Association (NGCOA) has named Walt Disney World Golf, which is operated by Arnold Palmer Golf Management, as their 2026 Resort Golf Course of the Year.

“Walt Disney World Golf represents the pinnacle of resort-level golf experiences, establishing a benchmark for service, design, and industry leadership,” says Cathy Harbin, President of the NGCOA Board of Directors.

Disney World’s Commitment to Quality
Having recently launched a significant project to overseed all four of its golf courses, Disney is committed to enhancing the quality of their golfing experience. They have also recently introduced a new golf cart fleet and debuted the renovated Magnolia.

The unit will be recognized next year at the NGCOA Golf Business Conference, which is taking place in Orlando.
“This prestigious award, naming Walt Disney World Golf as Resort Course of the Year, affirms the cohesiveness that exists when the Walt Disney World® Resort entrusts a management team dedicated to operational excellence,” said Doug Howe, Chief Operating Officer of Century Golf Partners, which owns and operates Arnold Palmer Golf Management (APGM).
