‘Zootopia 2’ and ‘Elio’ Earn Golden Globe Nominations for Best Animated Motion Picture

Exciting movie news has just been announced! Pixar and Disney have reason to celebrate today as Elio and Zootopia 2 have officially been nominated for Best Motion Picture Animated at the Golden Globe Awards!
These mark significant milestones for the two films.

Pixar shared the exciting news on social media just this morning:
“Congratulations to the cast and crew of Pixar’s #Elio for their Golden Globe nomination for Best Motion Picture – Animated.”

Elio follows an 11-year-old boy who is unexpectedly beamed into space and mistaken for Earth’s ambassador by a group of intergalactic leaders.

Zootopia 2 continues the adventures of Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde as they solve a new mystery involving a snake in Zootopia’s “Partners in Crisis” program.
Both movies have captured the hearts of Disney fans in different ways, and these nominations are well-deserved.
Golden Globes
The Golden Globe nomination places these two movies among the year’s top animated releases and recognizes outstanding storytelling, animation quality, originality, and emotional impact.
