We Have a Reopening Date for Kali River Rapids!
If you follow along with MickeyBlog, you know we have been updating you on the multiple changes happening across the Disney theme parks.

One popular attraction in Disney’s Animal Kingdom closed a few months ago for a short refurbishment, and we finally have its reopening date.
Kali River Rapids
It’s not uncommon for Disney attractions to temporarily close for updates and modifications, so we were not surprised when Disney announced that Kali River Rapids would temporarily close on October 6th, 2025.

At the time, we were not sure when it would reopen, with Disney sharing only that it would reopen sometime in December 2025.
But good news, Disney fans!

According to the Walt Disney World website, “Kali River Rapids is temporarily closed for refurbishment and will reopen December 12, 2025.”
That is just a few days away before we can once again experience the rapids and fun of this water attraction.

Unfortunately, rides at Disney World are not always operational, but you can stay updated on Disney’s refurbishment and learn about any unplanned closures.
