Disneyland Is Introducing a New Explore Key Pass in 2026
Disneyland Resort is kicking off 2026 with a significant change to the Magic Key system.
As explained on the Disneyland website, a new Explore Key pass will debut on January 13, 2026.

Introducing the Explore Key
Replacing the Enchant Key, the Explore Key costs $999 and gives passholders the following benefits:
- Reservation-based Park Hopper admission with the ability to hold up to 4 theme park reservations at a time
- Up to 10% off select merchandise and dining
- 25% off parking at the Toy Story Parking area
- 25% off the purchase of Lightning Lane Multi Pass
According to Disneyland, with the Explore Key pass, guests can explore the parks on select dates during each season, including summer.
The Enchant Key Will Be Sunset Next Month
With the advent of the Explore Key, Disneyland Resort will be sunsetting the Enchant Key.

The pass will no longer be available for purchase or renewal beginning January 12, 2026.
Current Enchant Key holders will, however, be able to keep their pass until it expires. At the time of renewal, they will have the option to switch to a different pass type, including the Explore Key.
What Is the Difference?
Sifting through the details, it appears that the Explore Key’s benefits are nearly identical to those of the Enchant Key.

The only difference between the two passes seems to be “expanded access during the summer months.”
It should be noted, however, that at $999, the Explore Key is $25 more expensive than its predecessor.
