PHOTOS: Animal Kingdom Crowds Form for Passholder Magnet Comeback
Why are there long lines and crowds mid-week at Animal Kingdom?
The theme park is buzzing today as Annual Passholders head to Discovery Trading Company for the second chance to get this season’s passholder magnets.
Disney is bringing back three popular designs from past releases, and the crowd shows how much fans love these collectibles.
Annual Passholder Magnet Comeback
Passholders can pick up Stitch…
…HeiHei…
… and Timon, and Pumbaa now through December 19 during regular park hours.
Lines wrapped through Discovery Island this morning, stretching past the store entrance and filling nearby walkways.
The queue moved steadily, and we waited about 25 minutes to pick up ours.
Cast Members managed the flow with directional signs and reminders about having your Annual Pass and photo ID ready.
Disney shared that this comeback is designed to give both new and returning Passholders a chance to update their collections, especially if they missed these magnets the first time around.
The magnets are bundled together, and you can get them all at once.
Be sure to get yours! The magnet pick-up is located inside Discovery Trading Company, and every Passholder must be present to receive their set.
