This is going to be an exciting year for Disney fans! Disneyland Resort has just shared its full 2026 event lineup, and it is pretty great!
Get ready for the return of the 70th Celebration, the debut of Bluey’s Best Day Ever, favorite festivals, expanded after-hours parties, and more.
Guests planning trips for 2026 will have even more entertainment, themed events, and vacation options than ever before. Here’s what’s coming next year!
Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration Continues
The 70th Celebration continues into 2026 with full entertainment lineup returning in January.
“World of Color Happiness!” and “Tapestry of Happiness” continue, along with the return of “The Celebrate Happy Cavalcade,” “Wondrous Journeys,” and the “Paint the Night” parade.
The celebration’s last day is August 9, 2026.
Bluey’s Best Day Ever Begins March 22, 2026
Disneyland Park will debut an all-new, family-friendly, immersive Bluey experience at the Fantasyland Theatre.
Guests can step into Bluey’s school, meet Bluey and Bingo on stage, and enjoy comedic performances from actors and musicians throughout the day.
The hands-on games and interactive fun are inspired by Bluey episodes, musical show moments, and new adventures like Keepy Uppy and life-sized Gnome Village and Fairy Garden.
Guests can also meet characters, including the Grannies, Chattermax, and Unicorse, while enjoying themed foods at Troubadour Tavern.
2026 Festivals and Seasonal Events
Disneyland Resort’s calendar includes a full year of festivals and annual favorites:
- Lunar New Year at Disney California Adventure Park (Jan. 23–Feb. 22): Horace Horsecollar, Mickey, Minnie, and more characters will appear in new Lunar New Year outfits inspired by Chinese, Vietnamese, and Korean traditions. Guests may also meet a Pixar character from “Turning Red.”
- Celebrate Gospel (Feb. 20–21 and Feb. 27–28): Uplifting musical performances return to Downtown Disney District, featuring community choirs and headlining artists Hezekiah Walker and Yolanda Adams.
- Anaheim Ducks Day (Feb. 22): Meet Anaheim Ducks players, enjoy hockey-themed activities, photo ops, and more.
- Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival (March 6–April 27): The popular festival returns with limited-time food, beverages, seminars, and family-friendly entertainment.
- Disney On the Yard: Yardfest Powered by Celebrate Soulfully (June 19): A full-day celebration of Historically Black Colleges and Universities with live entertainment and a drumline.
- D23 Day at Disneyland Resort (Aug. 13): Special surprises, themed moments, and rare character greetings return.
- Disney Jr. Let’s Play! Party (Aug. 13–16): A family-friendly event at Disney California Adventure filled with live entertainment, characters, and activities for little ones.
- Halloween Time at Disneyland Resort (Aug. 21–Oct. 31): Halloween returns with festive décor, characters, and seasonal fun across the resort.
- Plaza de la Familia (Aug. 21–Nov. 2): A celebration of family and the spirit of Día de los Muertos, inspired by Disney and Pixar’s “Coco.”
- Holidays at Disneyland Resort (Nov. 18): Holiday décor, entertainment, and traditions fill both parks and Disney California Adventure’s Festival of Holidays celebration.
Separately Ticketed After-Hours Events
We love these special events, and Disneyland After Dark returns with beloved favorites and a new event:
- Sweethearts’ Nite (Jan. 22, 25, 27; Feb. 3, 5, 8, 10, 12, 17): Romantic entertainment, rare character couples, and themed treats.
- NEW: 70 Years of Favorites (March 3, 5): A brand-new event that celebrates Disneyland history with musical nods, moments of remembrance, and offerings inspired by classic park memories.

More Experiences Coming in 2026
Disneyland Resort will add several new attractions and offerings throughout the year:
- Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run will debut a new mission focused on “The Mandalorian and Grogu” on May 22, 2026, tying into the new Star Wars film releasing that same weekend.
- Hyperspace Mountain returns for a limited time beginning April 28.
- Soarin’ Across America returns July 2, 2026, celebrating America’s 250th anniversary with a refreshed version of the classic attraction.
- The Disneyland Railroad guided tour also returns on Jan. 16, 2026, with bookings opening Jan. 8.
Downtown Disney District Updates
The district continues its transformation in 2026, adding new dining and retail offerings, including Disney Wonderful World of Sweets, Parkside Market, Disney Storyland Boutique, Nectar Life, Earl of Sandwich, Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby, and Lululemon. Construction continues through 2026.

California Resident 3-Day Park Hopper Ticket Deal:
On sale beginning December 3, 2025, eligible California residents can purchase 3-Day Park Hopper tickets for as low as $83 a day per person for a total cost of $249 or a 3-Day Park Hopper ticket with Lightning Lane Multi Pass for as low as $117 per person per day for a total cost of $351.

You can also save on hotel stays! Save up to 25% on stays of three or more nights from January 1, 2026, through May 21, 2026, at a Disneyland Resort hotel.
